Gao Shen and Sue Faye review Phuket photographer
For anyone looking for a wedding photographer in Thailand, look no further. Seriously, stop looking. Aht is by far, the best wedding photographer any couple could ask for.
My wife and I were first introduced to Aht by Geoff Whitehead, who runs Wow Make-up (whom I also highly highly recommend, especially for other asian couple). When we first contacted Aht via email, we were very pleasantly surprised at the promptness of his replies. Planning an overseas wedding is extremely stressful given the physical distance and language barriers. Aht made all of those worries vanish instantly. His replies were prompt and clear, and he was extremely patient with our million and one questions.
When we decided to go with Aht, he told us he would met us at Paresa during our recce trip in August 2017 and bring us out for a quick shoot. I thought “quick” meant one or two hours max. Aht drove us in his own car, to not one but two separate locations and took pictures for us for almost six hours! We were completely bowled over by his passion and enthusiasm. The photos were equally amazing!
Wedding day in Phuket.
Fast forward to January 2018, a day before our wedding. Aht came to our resort just to check in on us and have another quick walkthrough of our venue and go through some key shots with us. Mind you, Aht lives in Phang-Nga, which is about 80km from our resort. That is a three hour drive to and fro. That in itself should tell you all you need to know about this man’s dedication to his work.
On our wedding day, even though we arranged for Aht to come over at 10am, he showed up with his entire team of six at 930am. Him and his team shot tirelessly for the next 12hrs, covering all aspects of the wedding, from the make-up prep to gatecrash games, all the way to dinner late into the night. He was always smiling and giving clear and concise direction on what kind of poses would look best and how to position ourselves to get the best angle. One example that really stuck with me was when we marched in to the dinner venue for cake-cutting. Aht shifted the cake table in order to get the best angle and lighting before allowing us to cut the cake.
So really, stop looking for a photographer for your wedding because you have found him.
Words cannot express the gratitude Sue-Faye and I have for all the hardwork you and your team put in, before and during the wedding. It was truly an honour and privilege to have you at our wedding. We’re so lucky to have found you, and we wish your and your family all the happiness and good health!
