Railay Beach – A Photography Guide

Railay Beach, located in Krabi, is one of Thailand’s most breathtaking coastal destinations. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and soft golden sand, it feels like a tropical paradise. Accessible only by boat, Railay offers a quiet, laid-back atmosphere with stunning natural scenery. Around 20 minutes by long-tail boat from Ao Nang or Krabi Town. Boats run frequently throughout the day, making it easy to reach. For visitors coming from Phuket, the best way is to take a ferry or speedboat to Krabi and then continue by long-tail boat to the beachy. The journey itself is scenic, passing beautiful islands and coastal views.

The best season to photograph is from November to April, during the dry season when skies are clear and waters are calm.
