Phuket Beach Wedding at JW Marriott Resort & Spa

Cortney and Florian, a lovely couple from the UK, chose Phuket, Thailand, as the perfect location for their wedding. They contacted me a year in advance to be their wedding photographer in Phuket, and after discussing the schedule, guest list, and details, they decided to book both photography and videography with my team.

The couple selected JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa at Mai Khao Beach for its spacious beachfront and relaxing atmosphere. Its convenient location, just a short drive from the airport, made it easy for their guests to attend and enjoy a tropical getaway.

On the big day, my team of eight photographers and videographers arrived at the hotel at 2:00 pm. We began by capturing intimate moments of Cortney and Florian getting ready in their private room, along with special details such as the wedding dress, shoes, and accessories—beautiful memories that would last forever.

At 4:00 pm, the ceremony began on the lawn by the beach, with about 30 close friends and family from around the world. Our videography team also used drones to capture breathtaking aerial shots of the celebration.Fortunately, the weather was perfect—clear skies after several days of heavy rain—making the couple’s dream wedding come true.

After the ceremony, we took family portraits, group photos, and romantic couple shots by the beach, with the golden sunset creating the perfect backdrop.The reception started at 7:00 pm, with Cortney and Florian entering to warm applause from their guests. The dinner featured a variety of fresh seafood, followed by heartfelt speeches, the cake cutting, the first dance, and an unforgettable after-party with music and dancing until late in the evening.
