Koh Samui Thailand.
Koh Samui, located on the east side of Thailand, Samui is the second-largest island after Phuket and away from Bangkok around 800 kilometres, tourists can travel to Koh Samui in many ways. Koh Samui is a rich island in tourism resources that are unique, beautiful, charming, and different from other islands in Thailand. Whether it is a beautiful natural tourist destination such as clear seawater, white sand beach is parallel to the coconut trees by the beach and besides the nature of the sea, there are many waterfalls around Samui island with clear cool water almost all year round. Also, there are tourist spots that represent local arts and culture, such as Wat Samran, Lamai Temple, Big Buddha Temple, Laem Sor Pagoda, etc.
The terrain and weather here are completely different from Phuket Island, especially during the low season. Which is the period when the southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand between mid-May and mid-October causing continuous rain for many days on the Andaman sea coast but for Samui, There is still a space of time for us to see the sun. It doesn’t rain continuously very much.

We discuss various schedules including walking, Wedding Rehearsing, and Wedding ceremonies as realistic as possible and determine the positions to stands of the groom also bride and friends during the actual wedding ceremony that will begin tomorrow. We will find many flaws but we worked together to solve everything both the rhythm of the opening song while the bride walked in and the most perfect time to perform the ceremony, the Photo session after the ceremony ended, Group photo, Family photo, Couple photo on the beach before sunset also, Dinner and after-party.
Wedding day in Samui
25 July The day of the real wedding arrives Photographers and videographers arrived at the bridal room and started to take pictures when Julie and with bridesmaids started getting ready makeup, and hairdo at 1 pm. Hidden with fun and the excitement of the bride and bridesmaids with fun conversations all the time when professional makeup artists in Koh Samui are working. I and the videographer team separated to record all details carefully in this room such as engagement rings, wedding rings, wedding dresses, brides, shoes, and various cards, including candid photographs of the image while everyone doing their make-up and hairdo, all of which is the responsibility of the photographer and the videographer to keep all the details of the groom and bride’s Big day in Samui Thailand.
Around 3 pm, my Samui wedding photographer and Samui wedding videographer team began separate to take a photo in the groom’s room where Ian began to dress up with a group of 4 grooms man, The atmosphere is filled with joyful laughter from the tease of friends towards Ian, which after everyone has finished dressing. I invited the groom and friends to take a few group photos to prepare before going to the beach for the ceremony.
Scheduled for the wedding to begin at 4 pm, I asked another photographer to move down to take pictures of decorations flowers around the wedding area and ceremony arch around 30 minutes in advance. The ceremony courtyard is beautifully decorated with a nine-layered layout for guests to sit in a spiral shape in the centre. By requiring the ceremony to be placed in the centre of the circle with a guest chair therefore it making look like the guests sat around the ceremony yard but are whirlwinds which are very rarely seen for western-style weddings arranged on this beach.
The wedding ceremony began with Ian entering the ceremony with joyous applause from about 40 guests and when everything was ready, Julie dressed in an ivory white wedding dress entered the ceremony flanking the side of her parents Left and right. Everyone looked at the stunning beauty of the bride, including Ian, who was the first time to see Julie in the wedding dress. The ceremony began with the leader conducting the ceremony and Julie and Ian exchanged vows followed by exchanging rings and marriage registration provided by Resort.
After the wedding ceremony proceeded to finish. The bride and groom walked out of the ceremony yard. and allow guests to rest for 15 minutes with drinks and canapés. When I saw the right time I called all the guests to take a group photo on the beach and call members of Julie with Ian’s family to come to take pictures with the bride and groom. It takes about 15 minutes, then we walk down to the beach for the bride and groom photo session, the video team uses drones to record high-angle images as well. Fortunately, the weather today is very good, even though it has entered the rainy season. The sky is still light blue beautiful light for photographing on the beach until sunset.
The dinner began at around 8 pm with the wedding debut song along with the fun dancing of the guests before the speech of relatives and friends spoke about the couple which brings laughter and tears of happiness all the time.
My team and I stopped shooting at around 10 pm and said goodbye to all the weddings and guests and thanks for choosing me and the team as a wedding photographers on Koh Samui.
